There are literally thousands of free fonts available on the internet.  Bold, italic, serif, sans-serif, grunge, handwritten, and retro are only a few of the many varieties of fonts that exist.  Most designers are familiar with Arial, Verdana, Times New Roman, Comic Sans and Helvetica.  However, designers often need a more individualistic, memorable or unique font for a given project, and finding the right one can be a real challenge.
